Turkey Tacos

Equipment

Ingredients

  • lbs ground turkey beast meat
  • 1 cup fresh salsa (tomato, onion and cilantro)
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • ¼ cup onion diced
  • 8 taco shells
  • ½ cup Mexican blend cheese shredded

Instructions

  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Cook the turkey breast meat, breaking it up with a spoon, until cooked through, about 8 minutes.
  • Add the onion and garlic and cook for 2 more minutes.
  • Add the cumin, salsa and salt and cook another 2-3 minutes
  • Spoon the turkey meat into taco shells and top with sour cream, cheese, adding more salsa if desired.
