We had about 19 people and had ample space to chat and welcome everyone before we started. We all had a blast, learning step by step with the instructor for the salad, appetizer and entree, and we all loved that it was completely hands-on. We all were involved in the process and my favorite part was making the pasta! We all laughed and mingled and had a great soundtrack all night. We were served the wine we brought (they have a nice wine selection also), were taken to our table, and the cooking began! We made caprese salad and raviolis from scratch. “My 9 year old daughter loved this camp! She not only learned how to prepare meals, they also teach the kids how to eat right and how to read labels. The only negative is that some of the foods may be TOO healthy for the kids. Its very Vegan style and not many kids like Veggie burgers. My daughter many times did not eat lunch because meals were not very kid friendly. They should be at least 2 choices for lunch meals.”

I stayed in the academy during the class, and it was well organized and each group got attention from Maria when needed. When it was time to eat her creations, I was surprised my GD ate a food she has told me repeatedly she doesn’t like. The class gave her a sense of ownership of the food she usually doesn’t experience to that level. The food was nutritious and made in a kid friendly way— texture and flavor profiles. “My 6 year old son and 8 year old daughter were at a few different camps this summer - this one, The Frost Museum and The Children's Museum. This was by far their favorite. Each day, both kids went into the class excited, and when I picked them up in the afternoon, they were happy and eager to tell me what they did that day. The price of this camp is a bit on the high side but the kids make their own breakfast, snack and lunch each day, so that's a hassle and expense you don't have to worry about. At home, I have noticed that they want to help in the kitchen more and they have become interested in reading food labels and looking for healthy options. And finally, every single time I had a question or concern and called their contact number, the owner, Arthur picked up the phone and addressed my concern. His wife Chef Maria works with the kids. She often followed up in person as well. If you are on the fence, send your kids to this camp. You won't regret it!”

We had my daughters 10th birthday over the weekend and everyone had a wonderful time. The girls were fully engaged and gave rave reviews of how fun it was. We had 34 girls and there’s still space for more if you need and also can be a small group. The location can accommodate your party. The place is beautiful with the high ceilings and the open kitchen.
Kid’s Birthday Party- Amazing staff! They are always asking, if you need anything? Is everything okay? Can we help you with anything? Amazing party, amazing food, amazing people, the kids had fun, even the parents had fun and the party was not for them because it is for the kids. I booked my party due to the recommendations. I’ve never been to this place before, I booked my party based on the online recommendations. I showed up for my child’s party and the recommendations were right on the money. I was not disappointed! I will come back and the parents told me they will come back and book a party here as well! Great job!!
The venue has the ambiance of a fine dining restaurant, and Chef Maria makes it fun and easy to prepare delicious meals with great detail & care. The Indian class was a truly special experience. I kearned how to use exotic Indian spices, & I felt empowered making samosas! Highly recommend!
I took my girls to the Saturday, April 16th cooking class and both of them absolutely loved it! It was completely hands on, from chopping their own vegetables, to rolling their own dough. It was a huge step up from other classes they have attended. I highly recommend trying one of their classes. My girls can’t wait to go back!

He was amazing in running the party - there was not a moment where kids were wondering what to do! I was hesitant to send my 13 y/o daughter anywhere due to COVID but temperature checks were taken seriously, social distancing took place, plenty of space & limited # of campers and masks at all times gave me comfort. My daughter had such a great time she is signing up for another week! In the mean time we bought the ingredients to all the healthy, yummy items she made!
Good, wholesome, and constructive time for the kids. The location has ample space and Chef Maria is awesome. My 11 year old daughter has been 3 times and loves it.
Everything about The Real Food Academy is great. The staff, the place, the cleanliness, the recipes, the cafè…Our 5-year-old loved coming here for their Summer Camp. Between cooking and other activities, days hit the perfect balance of life skills and fun. We will definitely come back!
