If your kid is trying a smoothie for he first time, Strawberry Banana smoothie will be it.  They are familiar with these fruits, so it will be easy to have them like this.

One way of they will try it for the first time, is by having them help you make it.

They can peel the banana and separate the frozen strawberries to add them one by one into the blender.

Starwberry Banana Smoothie

This smoothie can be made with water, nut milks or any lactose free milks. Coconut water is one of my favorite. You can also add ice in order to make it more slushy.

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen banana peeled and sliced
  • 2 cups frozen strawberries you ca also substitute for for raspberries or blueberries.
  • 1 cup your favorite milk almond, rice or coconut
  • 1 or 2 tbsp honey or agave (optional)

Instructions

  • Put all the ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve.

Notes

Cooks note: For non-dairy smoothies, substitute 1 cup milk for  water or coconut water.
