Honey Glazed Turkey Sliders

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Rubber Spatula
  • Baking tray and parchment paper
  • ice-cream scooper

Ingredients

  • 1 large egg
  • ½  cup dry bread crumbs
  • ¼  cup onion finely chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 lbs ground turkey
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ¼  cup ketchup
  • ¼  cup honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • 12 mini slider buns
  • 6 leaves Romaine lettuce cut in 4
  • 1 Roma tomato

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine eggs. Add the bread crumbs, onion, and salt.
  • Crumble turkey over mixture and mix well.
  • Shape into 1-in. balls and slightly flatten.
  • Place on greased racks in shallow baking pans.
  • Bake, uncovered, at 375° for 12-14 minutes or until meat is no longer pink.
  • Meanwhile, in a large saucepan, sauté garlic with the oil until tender.
  • Stir in the ketchup, honey, and soy sauce. Bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Drain patties; add to the sauce.
  • Carefully stir to evenly coat.
  • Cook for 5-10 minutes.
  • To assemble: Cut buns in half, add the patties, lettuce, and tomato, and Enjoy!
