OK, I know what you are thinking. "My kid will never eat Kale".  I say, "you wanna bet"!  Most kids admit to me they have never eaten Kale in their life.  However, from the moment that tray of warm Kale chips hits the table all I see are lots of little hands reaching in for more and more until the chips are gone.  Compare the ingredients below to the average bag of Wise or Doritos.      Chef Maria

Ingredients

  • 1 cup kale (organic)
  • 1 tsp sea salt

Instructions

  • Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Line a non insulated cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  • With a knife or kitchen shears carefully remove the leaves from the thick stems and tear into bite size pieces. Wash and thoroughly dry kale with a salad spinner.
  • Drizzle kale with olive oil and sprinkle with seasoning salt.
  • Bake until the edges brown but are not burnt, 10 to 15 minutes.
