This easy recipe will get your little and big chefs cooking! Is easy to prepare, only takes a few minutes and you can always add Pesto, tomatoes or use your favorite cheese!

Garlic Grilled Cheese Sandwich

  • 1 each Italian-style bakery bread or fresh French loaf
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 tablespoon garlic mix
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese


  • On a large cutting board, slice the entire loaf of fresh bread in half.
  • Combine the butter with garlic mix adding the desired amount of salt and pepper, to taste.
  • Using a spatula, spread the butter mixture generously over both halves of the bread.
  • Top both pieces of bread with the cheeses, and bake uncovered for 13 to 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and golden.
  • Remove the bread from the oven, and sandwich both halves together.
  • Slice into pieces, and serve warm.
