Make this delicious baked fries in place of regular potato fries and provide a great source of vitamins to your body.

You can make this recipe as crispy as you want buy just adding a little sprinkle of corn start.  I use gluten free rice starch or tapioca  starch.

Crispy Baked Sweet Potato Fries

Ingredients

  • 2 medium size organic sweet potatoes
  • 1 tsp corn starch You can use gluten free corn starch as rice or tapioca.
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt, pepper and spices YOu can add yor own extra kick for sices like, curry, cayane, cumin, paprika, etc

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Peel the sweet potatoes and cut them into fry-shaped pieces
  • Toss the uncooked fries into a mixing bowl. Sprinkle with cornstarch and the olive oil. Season with salt, pepper, and add spices if using any.
  • Line baking sheet with parchment paper or if using a dark, non-stick baking sheet you don't need the parchment paper. Arrange your fries in a single layer.
  • Bake for 15 minutes, then flip the fries so they can cook on all sides.
  • Bake for 10 to 15 more minutes, or until the fries are crispy.
