Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast cut into strips
  • 8 oz fresh pasta fettuccine or angel hair
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup mushrooms sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 caroot julienned

Sauce

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce (reduced-sodium)
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • ½ tsp ground ginger
  • ½ tsp Sriracha (or more, to taste [optional])

Instructions

  • Transfer chicken to a medium bowl and toss with 1 tsp. salt and 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • Heat 2 Tbsp. avocado oil in a large wok or skillet over high. Add the chicken and cook, tossing often, until thoroughly, about 5 minutes. Transfer to a plate
  • In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, ginger, and Sriracha; set aside
  • In a large pot of boiling water, cook noodles according to package instructions; drain well
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add garlic, broccoli, mushrooms, bell pepper, and carrot. Cook, stirring frequently, until tender, about 3-4 minutes
  • Stir in the pasta, the chicken, and soy sauce mixture, and gently toss to combine
  • Serve immediately
